CMA CGM, OCEAN Alliance Unveil “DAY 10 Product,” Strengthening World’s Largest Container Shipping Network
CMA CGM, together with its OCEAN Alliance partners COSCO Shipping, Evergreen, and OOCL, has unveiled the new OCEAN Alliance “DAY 10 Product”, reinforcing the world’s largest operational maritime network as the alliance completes a decade of cooperation. The announcement was made during The Convention between Carriers and Ports for OCEAN Alliance, held from January 20 to 21, 2026.
With 41 services across major East–West trade routes, OCEAN Alliance continues to hold its position as the largest shipping alliance globally. For 2026, the partners have jointly designed a robust and flexible container shipping network aimed at maintaining high service reliability and operational efficiency in an increasingly dynamic global trade environment.
The Asia–Northern Europe trade lane will feature the most comprehensive offering in the industry, providing the widest port coverage at both origin and destination. Overall, the alliance will deploy 5.3 million TEUs of total capacity on the main routes linking Asia with Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and the East and West coasts of North America.
Under the “DAY 10 Product,” customers will benefit for the tenth consecutive year from an optimized and competitive service structure supported by:
- 394 container vessels, including 130 ships operated by CMA CGM
- 41 weekly services on the world’s most important maritime trade routes
- A combined capacity of 5.3 million TEUs
The service portfolio includes 7 services between Asia and Northern Europe, operated by 102 vessels, of which 30 are CMA CGM ships. The Asia–Mediterranean trade is covered by 4 services using 54 vessels, including 26 operated by CMA CGM. On the transpacific route, the alliance offers 22 services, comprising 8 services to the U.S. East Coast and 14 services to the U.S. and Canada’s West Coast, supported by a total of 199 vessels.
Additionally, 3 services connect Asia with the Persian Gulf, operated by 21 vessels, including 7 from CMA CGM. The two direct services between Asia and the Red Sea remain suspended until further notice, with cargo to and from the region continuing to move via CMA CGM’s standalone REX2 service, operated independently of the OCEAN Alliance. The network is further supported by 3 transatlantic services between Northern Europe and the U.S. East Coast.
The launch of the “DAY 10 Product” also underscores the long-term stability of the OCEAN Alliance, with partners committed to collaboration at least until 2032. Since its formation in 2017, the alliance has grown into a trusted and reliable global shipping network, ensuring optimized transit times, direct port calls, and resilient supply chain solutions across key trade corridors.
In parallel, CMA CGM reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, targeting Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050. The Group is preparing to operate around 200 container vessels capable of running on low-carbon energy by 2031, many of which are already deployed within the OCEAN Alliance network.
