Pakistan Navy Seizes $750 Million Narcotics Shipment in Arabian Sea
The Pakistan Navy has seized more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics worth approximately $750 million during a joint counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, marking a significant maritime security interception, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was conducted by Pakistan Navy ships PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmook while on routine patrol. The vessels intercepted a suspicious boat and carried out a boarding operation, recovering the narcotics from concealed compartments, according to ISPR.

The interception was carried out as part of ongoing maritime security operations aimed at countering illicit trafficking and illegal activities at sea.
Following the boarding operation, naval personnel recovered more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics. The seized drugs were estimated to have an international market value of approximately $750 million.
Naval Chief Commends PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmook Crews
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf commended the officers and crews of PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmook for their professionalism and vigilance during the operation.
The Pakistan Navy reaffirmed its commitment to maritime security, safeguarding national maritime interests and combating illicit trafficking at sea.
