INTERASIA ENGAGE Makes Maiden Call at Port of Incheon, Launching New KCI Service
Interasia Lines proudly announced that INTERASIA ENGAGE made her maiden call for the KCI service at the Port of Incheon on January 14, 2026. The welcome ceremony was successfully held with attendance from President Lee of the Incheon Port Authority, the CEO of Hanjin Incheon Terminal, valued local partners, and Jerry Hsieh, Representative of Interasia Lines Korea.
This service marks Interasia Lines’ first direct connection between Indonesia, Korea, and China, representing a significant milestone in the company’s expanding service network. The new KCI route is expected to enhance import and export logistics, particularly benefiting the Jakarta and Surabaya regions in Indonesia, while further strengthening connectivity across the Intra-Asia shipping market.
Under the new management of the Korea-China-Indonesia route (KCI), Interasia Lines’ first vessel has begun full-scale operations at the Port of Incheon. This follows the company’s strategic efforts to strengthen Intra-Asia services, initially announced in December 2025. Interasia Lines also launched a new CI9 service, connecting China and the east coast of India, and is actively expanding its network across India–Southeast Asia routes, where market demand remains strong.
