Pakistan Navy, PMSA and Balochistan Authorities Seize Smuggled Liquor in Joint Maritime Security Operation
A joint intelligence-based anti-smuggling operation conducted by the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), and the Excise, Taxation & Anti Narcotics Department (South Zone), Balochistan, in coordination with the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC), has resulted in the confiscation of a sizeable liquor consignment in the Gadani area of Balochistan.
According to officials, the illicit consignment was being transported from international destinations to Pakistan through maritime routes. Acting on intelligence inputs, the participating agencies successfully intercepted and seized the contraband during the coordinated operation.

The recovered liquor consignment has been handed over to the Excise, Taxation & Anti Narcotics Department (South Zone), Balochistan, for further legal proceedings and investigation.

It also underscores the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime domain and preventing the use of sea routes for illegal and illicit activities.
