Saudi Crown Prince and Macron Discuss Maritime Trade Security, Regional Stability
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed recent regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability across the region. They also discussed the importance of enhancing maritime security and safeguarding freedom of navigation along key international shipping routes.
The call included discussions on bilateral cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France, with both sides exploring ways to further strengthen partnerships across multiple sectors of mutual interest.
According to SPA, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Macron also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues, reaffirming the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation in addressing shared challenges.
The discussion comes amid growing international focus on maritime security, global trade routes, and the protection of critical sea lanes that support energy shipments and international commerce.
